Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you use buttwasher.net or buy from Bidet Co UK, a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd. Our Shipping, Refunds & Returns, Privacy Policy and Limited Liability Indemnity pages are part of these terms. Placing an order means you accept them, so please read them first.

Words we use

• "We", "us" and "the seller" mean Bidet Co UK, a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd.
• "You" and "the buyer" mean the person or organisation placing the order.
• "Goods" means the products you order from us.
• "The website" means buttwasher.net.

How we trade

We sell online only. We have no shop or showroom, and we do not offer an installation service. Our team answers email 7 days a week, and we aim to reply within one business day.

Using the website

You may use the website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• use it in a way that breaks any law;
• try to get into our systems without permission, or interfere with how the site works;
• copy or republish our text, photos or branding without our written permission;
• give false details or pretend to be someone else.

The Bidet Co UK name, logo, product photos and written content belong to us or to the people who license them to us.

Products and descriptions

We describe each product using the details its supplier publishes. When a detail such as a measurement is not published, the product page says so rather than guessing. Photos show each product as closely as we can, but colours and finishes can look a little different on your screen.

Prices

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). We do not add VAT at checkout. You pay the price shown in your basket when you place the order, plus any delivery charge shown there.

If we find a clear mistake in the price of something you have ordered, we will contact you before we send it. You can then go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Discount codes come off the price of the goods only. They do not reduce the delivery charge.

Payment

Payment is due in full when you place your order. You can pay by card through Stripe, or with PayPal. You enter your payment details on Stripe's or PayPal's own secure pages, so we never see or store your full card number.

If a payment is declined or does not go through, no order is placed and nothing is sent. Goods stay ours until we have received payment in full.

Orders and your contract

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the goods. We accept your offer, and a contract is formed, when we email you to confirm the order.

We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock or a payment looks fraudulent. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund you in full.

Please check your delivery address, email address and phone number before you pay. We are not responsible for a delay or a failed delivery caused by details that were entered wrongly.

Delivery

We deliver across the UK. Standard delivery is free on orders of £75 or more, and costs £25 below that. Orders are dispatched after a 24-48 hour handling time and arrive in 5-7 days. If you are outside the UK, email us before you order. Our Shipping page has the full details, including express delivery.

The goods become your responsibility once they are delivered to you. If a parcel is lost on the way, we refund the full cost of the goods and the delivery charge.

Cancelling and returning

If you are a consumer, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from delivery to cancel an online order. We give you 15 days, and there is no cancellation fee. You pay the postage to send back something you changed your mind about.

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies and we pay to put it right. An item that came sealed, and was then unsealed and fitted or used, may be refused as a change of mind return for hygiene reasons. That never applies to faulty goods. Fitting your product

Our hand bidets, toilet bidet attachment, bidet toilet seat and hand shower connect to your water supply or a tap. Installation and backflow requirements apply: follow the product instructions and the water regulations where you live, and use a qualified plumber if you are unsure. Our Disclaimer says more about this.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with a product or with our service, email theteam@buttwasher.net with your order number and what went wrong. A person will look at your case and reply, and we aim to do that within one business day. Making a complaint does not change your legal rights.

Our liability

If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result. Our Limited Liability Indemnity page sets out the limits on that, and the things we never limit. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

We work to keep the website running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes can be taken to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
